Why Choose Emmanuel-Faith?
A Ministry of Emmanuel and Faith Lutheran Churches
Emmanuel and Faith Lutheran Churches of York, Nebraska operate our school, founded in 1957, for the purpose of aiding parents in following the Bible directive - "Bring up your children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." (Ephesians 6:4b KJV). The home is, and always should be, the chief agency for the Christian training of the child. A Christian Day School does not relieve parents of this task. All activities of the school day are permeated with God's Word and Christian guidance and leadership.
As part of our Faith-based education, students worship together on Wednesday mornings at chapel. Each month we have an opportunity to serve others with our Chapel offerings and donate them to various missions including Operation Christmas Child, Living Water Rescue Mission, and Camp Luther, to name a few.
Memory Work
Starting in 1st grade, students have weekly or bi-weekly memory work, engraining the Word of God in their hearts.
Confirmation
Confirmation classes are taught during the school day starting in 7th Grade. Students who have been baptized have the option to be confirmed at Emmanuel or Faith Lutheran Church.
Tuition scholarships available based on financial need and tuition discounts for Emmanuel and Faith Church members, siblings and church workers. Tuition payments are collected through FACTS with options for convenient online payment plans.
Federal Hot Lunch Program
Emmanuel-Faith participates in the Federal Hot Lunch program, providing students with an excellent salad bar that includes fresh fruits and veggies daily, including many gluten-free options. Families may qualify or apply for free and reduced lunch prices.
