Emmanuel-Faith Families,
We are sending out new information regarding our annual PTL School Carnival. In
recent years, we feel like we are starting to out-grow the E-F School Gymnasium for hosting the event. It is wonderful that so many families attend and can enjoy the event; but we want to be comfortable and have plenty of space for the carnival games, eating area, and fellowship. We have looked at several options around town and feel like the Holthus Convention Center in York will provide us with a wonderful space for the event.
With the change in location, also comes a change in the typical date and time. The Carnival will be held on Sunday, March 17th from 3:00-5:30 pm. Please see the updated version of the PTL AssignmentsPTL Assignments for the help during the carnival to reflect the new date and time changes. As previously, you need to find your own replacement if you are unable to help with your assigned task. You can change times with another Emmanuel-Faith parent, grandparent, or adult family member to fill in for you. Please let the School Office know of any changes so we can help everyone keep track.
This year, we are also looking at creating our own carnival games instead of using a company. We are in need of woodworkers or craftsmen to help create these games. If anyone is interested in helping handcraft one of these games please call/text Miranda Beck at 1-402-710-3351. Also, if anyone has or knows of someone with a cotton candy machine that would be willing to let us borrow it for the event, please let us know.
One of the great events at the carnival is the raffle. We are working on getting some items ready. Raffle donations can be for both kids and adults. Toys are great! Other possibilities
are gift cards to restaurants, gift baskets, gift cards to places to play (bowling, fun city, etc.) If
you have anything that you would like to donate or have any questions regarding a raffle item,
you can contact Laurel Uhler at uhlerlaurel@gmail.com or 1-402-363-3001 or drop items off at
the school office.
