We’re happy to introduce Nick Bethune, who has joined our Emmanuel-Faith team to help care for our school and church facilities. Nick began working with us over the summer and is now serving full-time as Jessica recovers from surgery. 🧹🏫
Nick brings a cheerful spirit and genuine care for others to his work each day. He enjoys being part of our school family—especially getting to know the students and helping out wherever he’s needed. 💛
Nick lives with his mom and dad, Jacque and Paul, who are active members at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

We are excited to welcome David Batty (Mr. Dave) to our Emmanuel-Faith team as a Resource Aide! 🎉
Mr. Dave’s path has included many different roles—all connected by his passion for helping people learn and grow. He began his career as a substitute teacher, later worked in behavioral health, and most recently served as the Director at Wessels Living History Farm. 🏫🌾 It was during his time at Wessels that he rediscovered his love for teaching, especially when hosting field trips and classes.
Family is at the center of Mr. Dave’s life. ❤️ He and his wife Cindy have been married 33 years and live in York with their two dogs, Mitzi 🐾 (a rescued Miniature Schnauzer) and Rikki 🐶 (a Schnauzer/Chihuahua mix). Together they enjoy visiting relatives, spending time with their pups, and making lasting memories.
In his free time, Mr. Dave loves reading 📚, watching sports ⚾🏈🏀, fishing 🎣, and simply enjoying time with family. For him, true success is measured by kindness, faith in the Lord, and the love of family and friends. ✝️💙

Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences have begun!
You may enter the West or South School Doors, no need to check in at the office.
Don't forget to visit the Scholastic Book Fair (open till 7:30 pm), or a representative from our Cornerstone Bank Saints Branch (until 5pm) in the Fellowship Hall.
If something comes up and you can't make your conference time, please call the office and let us know so we can try to move you to a new time. Thank you!
📌 K-8 Early Dismissal and No School Reminder
For K-8 students there is a 1pm dismissal on Thursday, October 9th. Lunch will be served but there is no bus service at that time. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be from 1:30-7:30 pm. Be sure to come check out our Scholastic book fair in the Emmanuel Fellowship Hall during that time.
Little Blessings does NOT have school on Thursday, October 9th.
There will be no school for E-F or LB on Friday, October 10.
We'll see everyone back on Monday, October 13th! Reminder that there is no bus on Monday or Tuesday the 13th and 14th of October as YPS does not have school.
